Come create lasting memories of the Olympic Coast at Gone Coastal. This 2-bed 1-bath single-level duplex is the perfect getaway for those looking to explore the Olympic Peninsula! We feature an ideal location just east of the City of Forks, close to beaches, with WiFi, washer and dryer, & two smart TVs! Our aim is to provide everything you’ll need to create a home away from home!
The space
Spend your days discovering the natural beauty of the area before heading back to Gone Coastal. With over 900 sq ft, you’ll have plenty of room to move about without losing that quaint, cozy atmosphere when its time to cuddle up on the couch next to the wood fireplace. The duplex shares the garage and pantry/kitchen wall so there are less noise concerns while sleeping soundly on the other end of the house. It is located on a family-friendly loop community and just a short walk away is an idyllic trail that borders Elk Creek. Prepare family meals in the full kitchen or grill outside on the gas BBQ (propane tank level not monitored so let us know if it is getting low) and sit down for dinner at the large dining table with space for 4. The well-equipped kitchen features a full suite of appliances including a drip coffee pot and electric kettle. When it’s time to turn in, you’ve got two bedrooms to choose from, each with king beds. Closets have shelving and hangers. The bathroom features a tub/shower combo. In the garage (which is also used for owner storage) you will find a washing machine and dryer. We try and stock the house with all the basics including bedding, towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, toilet paper, hair dryer, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, foil, plastic wrap, Ziplocs, garbage bags, Folgers coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, hot cocoa, and oatmeal. The house also has some games, children toys, and a pack n play.
Guest access
You will be renting the whole left side of duplex and yard (no fence so no delineation with other side of duplex). Interior garage access for washer and dryer only, the owner uses rest of space for storage.
Other things to note
This is a pet-free, smoke-free home. Limited cell phone coverage at the house, but wireless Internet is provided (turn on wifi calling). We are happy to have Starlink Satellite Internet with speeds up to 150 mbps.

Beautiful place, we used the fireplace, and had a great evening! Amazing surroundings with the mountains and morning coffee on the patio was great.
We had a lovely surprise with the local eggs in the fridge for breakfast – thank you Ravae! Enjoyed our stay and the Forks area!

The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen & bath were spotless. Such a treat to see coffee in the cupboard for us! I noticed many thoughtful additions that make a stay so much nicer – coffee, tea, fresh eggs, shampoo, conditioner, and much more … none of these things were leftovers from another renter which was clear to me and so appreciated.

Very quaint little place with everything we needed for a 4 day stay. Easy to find and get inside. The house felt super cozy but not crowded, plenty of space for my group while we checked out the HOH rainforest and forks/La Push!

We had such a great stay at Ravae’s place, felt like home. Kitchen is sooo well stocked, you can find whatever you need. Thank you for the fresh eggs!
Amazing and private back yard, we also loved a fireplace. Host is very friendly and helpful. Beds are super comfy and surrounding was beautiful too! Great hike just 5 min away walk from the house. We’d definitely be back!

We’ve been visiting Olympic National Park’s beaches for 30 years— this was the first time we didn’t pack in all our stuff and camp—and it was a pleasant change. We found Ravae’s place to be cozy, private, quiet and super comfortable. Having a kitchen and nice bathroom with hot water was great. We even watched a couple of movies. The location is obviously not ‘right on the beach’ but I’ve always enjoyed Forks’ vibe and this trip only added to that.

The house was very comfortable for the 4 of us. We stayed there for a night and it was quite cold outside, Ravae made sure the living room was heated when we got there, that was quite thoughtful of them! It’s a really good place to stay if you are visiting olympic National park. We had a great time staying here!
